Hola from a couple of soon to be crazy ex-Canuks,
My husband, Bob and I(both recently retired) and our 2 dogs, Daisy Mae(a yorkie) and Precious( a chihuahua) will be arriving in Ecuador on July 30 with a brief stay in Quito(2 weeks) and then on Aug 13 it will be on to Cuenca which is going to be our principle place of residence. We will be staying at the Hotel Otorongo in Cuenca until we find a more permanent place to live.
We are so looking forward to meeting as many of the expats whose blogs we have been following and enjoying. The blogs have been so informative and interesting that I almost feel as though we are friends already without even meeting.
In July, Bob and I were lucky enough to meet Holly Walker who was visiting from Cuenca and her parents who happen to live a few blocks away from our place in Saskatoon, SK, Canada.
Neither of us speak spanish but can't wait to learn.
Well folks, it is time to say adios.
